Be trans­ported back in time to the era of the SWINGING 60’s!

Big Hair, lots of make-up, tons of sex appeal and crazy fash­ion brings back the nos­tal­gia of one of the best decades in time here at the 1960’s Make Over Studio.

Lon­don was the cen­tre of cre­ativ­ity with design­ers becom­ing inno­va­tors of colour and fash­ion. Carn­aby Street became one of the coolest hang outs. People started wear­ing what they wanted, ever-shortening miniskirt, long knit­ted tops, lit­tle coats with over­sized but­tons and high-heeled go-go boots.

With hair, any­thing went, from Twiggy’s short page­boy bob to the long, straight, folksy hippy look. Bee­hives and bouf­fants were held in place with half a can of hair­spray, make up was heavy, with eyes peer­ing through lay­ers of black kohl and false lashes stiff with mascara.

Here at the 1960’s Make Over Stu­dio, in the heart of Lon­don, we are recre­at­ing your very own, authen­tic 1960s inspired make over and pho­to­shoot,  encap­su­lat­ing the look, feel and fun of a 1960s fash­ion photo studio.

You can let your hair down or put it up, as you relax and are pam­pered with full hair and makeup by our amaz­ing, pro­fes­sional artists, go to our clothes bou­tique cor­ner to select your authen­tic 1960’s out­fits, have a very British after­noon tea with cakes, fol­lowed by a full pho­to­shoot expe­ri­ence with our world renowned fash­ion photographer!

For those of you that are ner­vous or shy, we have our expert on hand to offer you guid­ance and advice on looks and poses to suit you.

After a great fun few hours of  pam­per­ing, pos­ing and danc­ing, you will be amazed at the end results! We shoot in the tra­di­tional 1960s square for­mat and 35mm film and within a few days you will receive your test sheet of amaz­ing images. Imag­ine hav­ing your very own 60’s mag­a­zine cover hang­ing on your wall at home! Share the expe­ri­ence with friends or go it alone as a unique gift to some­body or some­thing spe­cial and unique for yourself!
